Every game maps to peer-reviewed findings on cognitive aging and brain plasticity.

Alzheimer's & Dementia: Translational Research & Clinical Interventions, 2026

ACTIVE Trial — 20-Year Follow-Up

Speed-of-processing training with booster sessions showed a 25% reduction in dementia risk over ~20 years in older adults.

Scientific Reports (Nature), 2020

Commercial Cognitive Games Meta-Analysis

Commercial cognitive games improve processing speed (SMD 0.50) and attention (SMD 0.43) in older adults across multiple studies.

Scientific Reports (Nature), 2021

Large-Scale Cognitive Training Study (12,000 users)

12,000 users aged 60-80+ improved cognitive performance and processing speed across 100 training sessions, regardless of age.

About Project Preserve

Brain Boggle is part of Project Preserve, a dementia awareness initiative co-founded by Arhan Chakravarthy and Samik Thakur. The project helped contribute to the passage of the NAPA Reauthorization Act (HR 619) and the Alzheimer's Accountability and Investment Act (HR 620) in both the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate.
